This luge ride is very similar to the Skyline Luge that you’ll find in Rotorua (one of the major tourist attractions in North Island). If you are looking for a cheap and exciting way to entertain the kids during the weekend, I would highly recommend the place.
To get up the hill, there are two travellators (yung parang sa mall but gigantic version) and it takes about 8 minutes to get to the top.
Mayroong tatlong routes: the scenic route, intermediate route and the fast route.
Pero mayroon ding added attractions like V8 racing simulator, a mini golf course and my favourite - the segway. I never imagined that I would be able to ride a segway that day because it was not part of the advertised features in the luge website. The bloke I talked to said that it was just recently added and that these amazing vehicles cost something like NZ$10,000. I couldn’t quite understand how the segway works except that it is based on a gyro mechanism - you lean forward to go, lean backward to stop or reverse, and lean sideways to turn. And the best part? It just takes a minute to learn to ride it.
